Meet our Leaders
Maria-Claire Martin is a "cradle" Catholic who loves to learn about the endless joys and gifts of our faith. She is trying to pass that down to her 6 children through daily life and homeschooling. She worked as a Physician Assistant for ~10 years before becoming a full time Stay-At Home Mom, now attempting to focus on the beauty of the vocation God has given her.
Her kids range in age from 11 to 1 years old. She loves all things biology...including her animals, gardens, bees etc on her property in Somers. Her love of learning and teaching is what keeps her homeschooling. Her goal at co-op is to share and instill this love of learning with parents and children alike. She desires for other homeschool families to find support, encouragement and fun here!
Ashley Marrero is a Catholic mother of four. She has a passion for education and loves learning new things, especially surrounding the faith and history. She has been a stay-at-home mom since leaving her job as a 5th grade teacher, when her oldest was a toddler. She knew she wanted to provide her children with a home education and pursued homeschooling soon after.
Ashley's children are ages 10-2 years. She is very grateful for this community where we can learn and grow together!
Amanda Smith is a Catholic homeschooling mother of 5. She is one of 11 children. She was homeschooled through 7th grade and is thankful that her mom gave her a strong foundation to start homeschooling her own children.
Amanda's passions include her faith, singing, gardening, anything artsy and spending quality time with friends & family. She knows how important it is to have a good community not only for herself, but for her children, and is so thankful to be a part of this homeschool co-op.
Francesca Dias is a Catholic mother of three who is passionate about building a strong community for Catholic families. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom she worked in public and nonprofit accounting. These days, she spends her time caring for her children and serving the western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut Catholic community through various ministries and projects.
Francesca loves bringing people together and believes that homeschooling is made so much richer when families have a community to learn, grow, and share their faith alongside. She is grateful for the friendships and support that have grown through the co-op and loves creating a place where both children and parents can feel known, welcomed, and encouraged.
